About Me
Brief Bio
I am a Locus-award winning, Hugo-nominated contributing author. I am a native daughter of New Orleans which means I spin stories as wide and deep as the Mississippi. I write poetry and prose from my framework of decolonizing and healing the SELF (Spirituality, Sexuality, Self-Love, Emotional and Educational Wellbeing, Liberation, and Financial Freedom).
My writing focuses on creating stories which are the vehicle by which people connect and imagine change as well as creating praxis which is the road the stories will collectively lead us. I enjoy applying my skills and experience to every project based in love and liberation. I always bring a thoughtful, compassionate eye and a positive attitude in everything that I do. If you’re looking for help with the story your organization uses to sets its course or you need a concrete road map feel free to schedule an initial consultation.
